About
Beth Gadomski, Psy.D. is a California licensed, empirically-informed psychologist based in the San Francisco Bay Area with over two decades of counseling experience. She has held clinical positions at both Stanford University and the University of California, Berkeley, where she provided mental health support to high-achieving, diverse populations.
Dr. Gadomski earned her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Alliant International University’s California School of Professional Psychology in San Francisco. Her dissertation research focused on ethnic-racial and subcultural identity, an area that remains central to her work and expertise. Following her doctoral studies, she completed a postdoctoral fellowship at UC Berkeley’s Counseling and Psychological Services, which led to a staff position there. She later joined Stanford University’s Counseling and Psychological Services, where she worked as a psychologist for five years before transitioning to private practice in 2015.
In her private practice, providing remote therapy to individuals, couples, and partners throughout California, Dr. Gadomski specializes in working with high-functioning, unconventional, and thought-expansive clients. She is honored to support clients living outside of traditional paradigms, including Queer, Kinky, Poly, and/or subcultural/subversive persons. Additional areas of expertise include women/NBs in Tech, BIPOC persons in CNM relationships, and the childfree-by-choice.
Her forthcoming book, Consenting Adults (working title), supports unconventional individuals and their relationships. Consenting Adults offers a non-prescriptive approach for navigating non-traditional relationships, including consensually non-monogamous, childfree-by-choice, and non-cohabiting partnerships. Grounded in principles of accountability, mindful self-awareness, mutual consent, and theoretically integrative interventions, the book serves as a fluid framework for co-creating Relationship Integrity in unconventional partnerships.
